ugh. 4 days no pain meds.

getting steroid injections for arthritis in my spine on thursday. have to make it through 4 days with no nsaids.
not gonna be fun.

hope the shots help, tho. this is a drag.

my ride fell through. and my back up ride fell through. and my 2 hail mary calls to friends also failed.
so, shots in mid january. yeah!!

nsaids away.

my 5 days with no nsaids had me in bed by the end. had been taking them 2x/day for a while now.
but i woke up the next morning in no real pain.
haven't taken nsaid since.

the damage to the discs is not that huge right now. just my pain pathways amping it up.
he told me not to do anything new till i see him in 2 weeks, but i am really hoping i can use this time to build my muscles up a little. at 59 1/2, my goals are low. but i have a lot of work left to do before i let that rocking chair get me.

we shall see
