Merry Christmas / Happy Holidays

More people than necessary are spending this holiday without their loved ones (either due to cancer, bullets, or accidents). We're still around in one way or another, so in many ways we are still quite fortunate.

Here's to a healthy 2013 for us!

“Nollaig faoi shéan is faoi shonas duit.” It means “A prosperous and happy Christmas to you.”

“May peace and plenty be the first to lift the latch on your door, and happiness be guided to your home by the candle of Christmas.

Peace to us all.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
