I finished another series of chemo yesterday

and have two weeks off! A CT scan is scheduled for May 2 and I have blood work every week, but NO chemo for two whole weeks. I'm celebrating with rootbeer.

Now for a strange story. When I was leaving chemo yesterday one of the women at the reception desk got a call. Someone wanted an appointment. Her dentist told her that she should have a mole on her chin checked out. She went home and cut the mole off! Then she called the oncologist to see what she should do with it. You just never know what some people will do.

So happy to hear you are getting a break. I love root beer and I am thinking root beer float. It has gotten warm here and I have a stupid craving for ice cream. Enjoy you two week break.

I didn't know whether to laugh or cry when I read about the mole being cut off. I have always been too much of a chicken.
