Related: About this forumThings didn't go well.
The ovarian mass was stuck on a kidney, part of the bowel, an artery and the abdominal wall. I had a blood transfusion and was sent to ICU. They're finding a bed in med surg today.
I officially have ovarian cancer.

She had ovarian cancer, too, which also affected her bowels. After surgery and chemo therapy, it went into remission.
She lived to be 90 years old.
Sending healing energy your way.

Music is a great way to relax while in treatment. I used headphones and my eyes covered. I played the crap out of "The Erasure" by Thom Yorke and "Jack Johnson" by Miles Davis

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
