I finally get to see a surgeon

After the mastectomy I developed a fat tumor on the left side of my back. I have lost a great deal of weight since breast cancer and while my body size was shrinking I thought the tumor was getting bigger. At long last, the doctors agree with me. I see a surgeon on Thusday. My PCP couldn't measure it and it has dawned on him they will not be able to get all of it. I would be happy if they could half of it. I have been told I need to sleep on my back and it is very uncomfortable.

glad you finally have the appointment with
a surgeon. Those fatty tumors can be really painful ! And i know they are even worse if they are in a location where you
have to put pressure.

I can't sleep on my back, either. Praying you get some relief.

and wishing the best possible result with your surgery. I can't imagine having to sleep on my back. It hurts thinking about it.

I guess I caught a bug that wouldn't let go. I have been down for a while. My daughter is home for a couple of weeks and she was evidently the right kind of medicine. I am feeling better.
