(96,874 posts)My dearest friend and mentor just got similar good news a few weeks ago. It's a great relief. I'm glad it worked out for you and I hope there aren't a lot of residual discomforts following this good news.

(96,874 posts)I had some serious dental surgery a few years ago, I bought one of those juicers and I still use it at least four times a week to make a liquid meal. Sometimes I need to get food in my body and I just can't get it together with solid food but I can suck fluid down a straw so I make a juice that's more like a smoothie with all kinds of veggies and nuts and stuff and that will take care of it.
I do ope the discomforts don't last long. My friend is still having some lingering effects from her treatment but she's very happy to have gone through it all to get her results.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
