Getting through chemo deserves a great big celebration. When I could really taste food again I had lobster. Everything tasted like metal for so long I wanted to make sure I could enjoy it. I am so happy you will soon be done.

I had almost a year of it. My breast cancer didn't show up on mammograms so by the time they found it my right breast was all tumor and attached to my chest wall. I am very lucky for many reasons but one of the big ones is that although I had cancer in 18 lymph glands it hadn't gone though my body. I am not sure why but I am very glad it didn't. When I first discovered the lump, they didn't think it was cancer until I had the biospy.

My pathology report showed some in some 2 lymph nodes (esophagus). Otherwise I may have been able to skip the radiation and chemo as I was stage 1a when they found it.
