Related: About this forumTonight the weakness had a real effect.
I was squatting down, and when I tried to get up, I couldn't. It really freaked out my wife. As a former competitive cyclist and then a mail carrier, my legs were my power center.
I know the weakness was the main cause, but a clean, waxed floor played a part. Still this was a wake up call that I need to exercise.

(21,210 posts)even though it might be covered and can do wonders for recovery!
I agree with others, if nothing else just start walking for now

Go slow, build a routine that fits what you can do now, and work toward your old self, so to speak.
I love to walk. Just walk, with no real purpose in mind. It took some time to be able to walk a mile without breaking out in sweats.
I'm still not where I was but I can walk for several miles now.
And no stocking feet on a clean, waxed floor.

(22,538 posts)I can only suggest to walk. If I had to build strength I'd get a good audible book, put on my ears and simply pace about the house and yard and don't forget to go up and down some steps.
Now I will google your new camera to be.

BTW I feel better today. My breathing has improved, phlegm production has reduced. I have been having dry heaves at night. That might be ending.

(60,178 posts)It also comes in silver. That is very "unprofessional" but I am not, nor do I want to be mistaken for one of those poor souls.

(60,178 posts)Black is the choice among photographers wanting to be unobtrusive. It's hard to be unobtrusive when you have thousands of dollars of equipment hanging from your frame.

(139,456 posts)but don't understand the professional/amateur aspects of this; I'm obviously much more amateur than YOU, alfredo!
