Got my biopsy results. Came back earlier than expected.

The doctor gave me the options of removing the entire spot or a partial for the biopsy, and I went with the full removal. The procedure was a little more involved but I'm glad I went that route.

It was an actinic keratosis but no cancer anywhere. The margins were good- it was all good.

I will have to be checked from time to time, of course, but that's OK.

Thanks again for letting me vent last week.

Those are the ones that pinch when you press on them—pre basal carcinoma (from what I read). I had one on the side of my face (I think there are a couple more, too). It makes a pinching feeling when I shave. I had it frozen off 7 years ago, but it came back. The doc said if if comes back again, they will use "medicine" on it. I don't know what that means. :/

I don't know know what "medicine" means either unless it means chemo or radiation, and I hope you never have to experience that.

I actually saw online that there are various creams to treat it. We'll see.

I think I had prepared myself for it to be bad though.It took me a second to realize what she said when she said it wasn't cancer.
