Cancer Support
Related: About this forumGot my latest test results.
I'm still cancer free. I now go from testing every 3 months to every 6 months (Scans, blood, etc..).
I'm relieved. Still looking toward that magical 5 year mark. One day at a time.
Thank you all for your support!

(12,051 posts)a little less with each passing exam, and at the 2-yr mark (for breast cancer anyway) my doc shook my hand and said that was one good milestone passed. I guess many breast cancers can pop right up again if they have a mind to, and they'll do it within 2 years.
But scanziety is a small price to pay!

(18,652 posts)In past month, I passed 3/4 with no cancer. Last test this year is next week (colonoscopy/endodscopy) and the scanxiety is kicking in. Best med is mmj for that.

Happy to hear it! One good thing about the passage of time is that you get good reports like this.
BTW, please allow me to introduce myself. I am a 7-year stem cell transplant survivor, which cured my leukemia. Last year I was diagnosed with a small squamous cell tumor on the side of my tongue. Had surgery, no further treatment required, but need to be watchful. Trying to be calm and balanced and not let anxiety overcome me. I meditate and try to eat well and take supplements and visualize the best.
I read about your story and send you healing vibes and all good wishes.
