It's back. Again.
I haven't posted here for a long time, since I've been in remission for almost 5 years.
But guess what? The friggin' thing is back once more.
Ovarian cancer that had migrated to my colon (and removed in 2009) has reappeared in the exact same spot where they excised it in '09.
Supposedly I had clear margins back then, but that obviously made no difference.
I guess I should be grateful that it's just a single tumor and has never spread. But still, I'm having major surgery on May 13th for the 4th time. What is making me even more angry and resentful is that the Dr. has said he may have to do an ileostomy (maybe temporary, maybe permanent). The thought of that is making me sicker than the #$%^& cancer.

What dreadful news. I share your anger.
I don't think you need to be grateful; how could you be, with this awful news staring you in the face?
It sucks.
I will keep you in my thoughts, FWIW.
worrying about cancer coming back, and . . . then it does, and it's as shocking as having the cancer the first time. My sympathies go out to you, and I hope for a good resolution.
