Is anybody else watching the quirky HBO series 'DTF St. Louis'? There's a
new twist every episode.

(57,838 posts)DTF St. Louis is a new HBO dark comedy/crime miniseries starring Jason Bateman, David Harbour, and Linda Cardellini, centered on a love triangle that forms after two men meet on a fictional extramarital affair app called "DTF" (Down To F***). The show, created by Steven Conrad, follows the fallout from the affair, which leads to a murder investigation, with detectives Homer and Plumb looking into the relationships between the characters.

(1,937 posts)Why trash? The police investigation is totally inept. In episode 2, the 2 detectives on the case are sitting at a bar having drinks while thumbing through an old Playgirl magazine which is a major piece of evidence in the murder case! They put their fingerprints all over it and place it right on the dirty bar top. Each new episode becomes more ridiculous and less believable IMO.

(14,096 posts)A lot of the scenes seem a little off, the same feeling I got when watching Fight Club and The Sixth Sense, so Clark and Floyd may be the same person, or the detective is a ghost, which is why Clark doesn't respond to his questions. That aside, I would rather see a sitcom with Floyd as the main character, a hip-hop ASL signer guy who gets into scrapes because he doesn't want people to feel bad.
