Even if he's in a project that's mediocre, he's always good.

He's been great over the years and after watching the first episode I was thinking just that: man he has still got it. He is beloved but he is also a great actor. Great first episode. Watching 2 tonight.

this week...I believe the last show will be next week...there will be another season...don't know how it will play out as there is but one book...never read it...maybe they did half this time and half next time...or maybe simply write a new script. Either way, I will be watching.

So Jeff Bridges character is probably about Jeff Bridges age - 72. I don't care how great of shape he's in for a 72 year old, I just don't think he'd be able to hold his own in hand to hand combat with a man 20 - 30 - 40 years his junior. Sure, he could probably kick Josh Hawley's ass, but he's duking it out with TRAINED men half his age and winning! Nope, not buying it.

The one who plays a younger Lithgow has really captured his voice and speech rhythm.

I can't say the same for the actor playing young Jeff Bridges (Bill Heck). He's not bad; he's just not Jeff Bridges.
