Simon Baker is quite a clever and charming character as Patrick Jane, and there's great chemistry between him and Robin Tunney.

1. I loved the show, but hated that whole Red John arc.

3. Yes I agree but guess they had to come up with some backstory to justify his police involvement

On a side note, Simon Baker sounds like a regular American in his role, but in interviews he sounds like Crocodile Dundee.

It's interesting that there's absolutely no hint of an Australian accent when he talks in the series.

5. And when we found out who Red John was it wasn't really believable, IMO.

It reminded me of the serial killer in "The Profiler."
