2020 Oscar documentaries and short films (winners and nominees) on Netflix

My Octopus Teacher (Oscar winner, documentary feature)
Two Distant Strangers (Oscar winner, short film/live action)
If Anything Happens I Love You (Oscar winner, animated short)

Three nominees streaming as well.

A Love Song for Latasha (documentary short)
Crip Camp (documentary feature)
The Present (short film/live action)

--------------------------------------

If you're paying for Netflix you might as well check them out. I've seen the three winners -- all wonderful.

I've heard enough people talk about how much they cried over it, I have been avoiding it.

I am always wary of films featuring animals anyway.

Maybe I need to watch it when I need a good cry but just can't quite get there.

I am very pleased that it received the award.

It's touching, which is why some folks cried over it. What a great film. It'll change the way you think about octopuses for sure.

As much as I liked My Octopus Teacher, Crip Camp was better IMHO. Incredible story.
