WHAT IF I CAN'T MISS WORK?
Here are some other ways you can support the strike that dont involve a write-up and a conduct meeting with [your boss].
If you can't miss work, you can still participate. Stock up on some groceries, and just don't shop. For one week.
WHAT IS THE MISSION?
Women and those who are vulnerable to unwanted or high-risk pregnancies will not be participating in or supporting a system that has proven time and time again that it does not regard us as human.
The mission is simple: Break the economy over the course of one week by abstaining from work, shopping, entertaining
WHAT ARE THE GOALS?
https://www.mothersdaystrike.com/about
Ending the filibuster
Enacting The Women's Health Protection Act (WHPA)
Federally codifying Roe v Wade into law.
Term limits for Supreme Court Justices
Limiting the number of Supreme Court Justices a single administration can appoint.
ONE WEEK.
For one week, do what you can. Whatever you can.
Don't go out, don't shop, don't participate. And IF YOU CAN stay home from work.
Our country does not consider women to be actual people. Let's do something about that.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
