Just ran across this video that explains why it's inaccurate to think of either sex or gender as a binary concept.

A biologist and science communicator who specializes in evolutionary biology, bioanthropology, and biomedical sciences explains how sex, gender, and sexuality are all much more complex and multifacted phenomena than the little boxes many people want to cram them into.

Human sexuality is a spectrum, not a simple either/or. nt ShazamIam Friday #1

to them, there's nothing that's a spectrum. EVERYTHING either IS or it ISN'T. They have to be able to put things into little identifiable boxes. And if something won't fit, it gets destroyed, thrown away, or disgraced. These people don't do nuances. More's the pity; I never knew an abnormally large amygdala could impact one's ability to actually think... even think critically... but evidently, it does. Because they only thing they know, understand, and live under (other than their Master's voice), is fear.

'Who I Am Not' on the subject.

Sharon-Rose Khumalo, a South African beauty queen, faces an identity crisis after discovering she's intersex. Her path crosses with Dimakatso Sebidi, a masculine-presenting intersex activist, as they both navigate a journey marked by society’s stigma and inner struggles. Intertwining raw reality with poetic beauty, Who I am Not captures the heart-wrenching fight for acceptance in a binary world.

At one point in the movie a physician mentions the digit ratio test. Though not a universally accepted definitive measure of evidence, it is an interesting thing to check for yourself and see what you discover.

You may learn more here:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digit_ratio
The most commonly studied digit ratio is that of the 2nd (index finger) and 4th (ring finger), also referred to as the 2D:4D ratio, measured on the palm side. It is proposed that the 2D:4D ratio indicates the degree to which an individual has been exposed to androgens during key stages of fetal development.

I encourage watching the film. It's truly beautifully done, brave in its storytelling and thought provoking. I've watched it three times.

If you are able, please watch it and tell me what you think.

We're all on the rainbow somewhere.

Thank you so much for sharing this, SB. ❤️
