Question posted by bigoted asshole:
Why is everyone expected to bend the knee to the transgender movement
And a transgender persons response:
I think Id like to live in your world.
I mean, in your world trans people are a feared and respected ruling class, rather than a frequently (physically and politically) attacked minority.
In your world, trans people are calling the shots. Here in reality, were forced to constantly beg our governments not to pass laws that are going to result in our widespread suffering.
In your world, everyone must bend the knee. Here in the world the rest of us live in, its a daily struggle for most trans people to just not get stepped on, or kicked while theyre down.
Just a few questions before I move in, though. What color is the sky there, and do yall have hot tubs?

Most by that point or removed. Its here disguised very well as "science" or "biology" But it still is transphobic nonetheless

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
