If facts are embarrassing and might upset some people, then you bring out the spin machine, the propagandists, the 'they started it!' arguments, and make sure the 'new' news, the 'new' way of looking at things, gets a word in on every social medium there is.

The spin?
Yep, genocide is the new thing!
It's ok, we are the good guys, they are the bad guys.
God is on the side of Israel!
We remember the Holocaust! It gives us moral superiority today!

But they won't call it genocide, it will be frames as Israel has its back against the wall, fighting for survival, no other option etc.
