CEO of company linked to Hezbollah pagers being guarded by Hungarian secret services
This is the headline from an article running in the Times of Israel today. There is much that is not being said but reading between the lines this shaky looking "company" of a single person with an address but no physical presence keeps saying she did not have anything to do with design and manufacture. But the Taiwanese CEO of the company whose name was on them says she was responsible for the engineering and manufacturing. I get that she didn't put them together herself but it sounds like she was supposed to have procured the engineering/manufacture of the pagers which would typically mean reviewing and approving plans and specs and issuing manufacturing orders. Yet she claims to have just been a go between. Well young lady a go between with who and was it more than one party? The Taiwanese grilled her and the other CEO at length but it would appear that now she is being hidden by the Hungarians and whether she will ever be made available for further questioning is anybody's guess.
An interesting note about the article is that it cites her claims of what would appear to be an incredibly expansive involvement in a huge swath of varied aspects of the world economy and yet she had not much income for all of those grandiose claims. However she spent $55,000 on "equipment". Really? For a single person operation that supposedly takes care of sick Grandma on the side and has no facilities of an office, manufacturing plant or warehouse it begs the question of what "equipment" this was and what it was for. Maybe something to help with electronics manufacturing? Oh that's right I forgot. She had nothing to do with anything. In fact I'd be surprised if she can even remember the names of her contacts that asked her to be just the go between. For someone who had nothing to really do with anything it makes a person wonder what was discussed during the reported several hours of questioning by the Taiwanese investigators. Maybe they were asking how Grandma is getting along. Over and over for hours.
