He admitted: “Putin’s talk of peace… doesn’t mean anything”  The Washington Post).
At his Oval Office meeting with NATO’s Rutte, Trump said, “I’m disappointed in him, but I’m not done with him… We had a deal done four times… then… he attacked a nursing home in Kyiv”  The Guardian). Of course there was no deal, and no intention to honor it by Putin.
