Fico accuses Ukraine of harming Slovakia by not extending Russian gas transit deal - TVP World

“Where is Fico” could be a new game show, as media and public opinion are both trying their best to understand where the Slovakian Prime Minister currently is. No comments were made on claims that the head of government has been staying at a five-star hotel in Vietnam, as protests intensify in Bratislava. Prime Minister Robert Fico isn’t just the enfant terrible of the European Union, but also one of its longest-serving prime ministers. His party, Smer, has been in power since 2006, with only a brief interruption, and Fico continues to excel in mastering the art of gaining and maintaining power. Despite this, however, his current government has never been as fragile as it is now. Analyst Tomáš Strážay from the Slovak Foreign Policy Association joined TVP World to discuss the political situation in Slovakia.
