In the next couple of days, I should be hearing about whether I got a new job. This is HUGE for me because it means that I would no longer be an adjunct going from school to school. It's for a full-time 9 month contract and would incorporate every skill sets I've acquired in the last 20+ years. (Our colleges start late here.)


Update:
Thank you, everyone, for all the good thoughts. Unfortunately, I did not get the position. The start date would have been today and I have heard nothing. I'm really tired of the adjunct life. It's no way to live, so I'm re-considering my career options at this point.

Adjunct positions are horrible, they don't pay well and they are totally abused by universities. Good luck!!!!
