Huge victory for workers - and thank you for being part of it

Three weeks ago, we were asked by a union in the Philippines for help.

Their employer, MetroWear, a supplier to global clothing brand Lululemon, was behaving really badly -- firing union officers, refusing to bargain collectively, and so on. They asked us to launch an online campaign to put pressure on Lululemon.

Almost 4,000 of you sent off your messages of protest and solidarity through LabourStart.

And here we are, three weeks later, and the pressure worked.

The workers have won an enormous victory and we have shut the campaign down

You can read their message giving out details of what they won, here: https://labournewsnetwork.org/2025/07/01/philippines-victory-for-workers-at-lululemon-contractor/

To continue with these campaigns, LabourStart needs your support and the support of your union.

As we begin our 28th year online -- we're older than Google and Facebook -- we're asking you to donate $28 / €28 / £28 (or more if you can). Every donation counts. I hope that we can count on you again.

Thank you!
