Cesar Chavez was born on March 31, 1927. He would grow to lead strikes and become one of the greatest US farmworker organizers of the 20th Century. This is a bonus episode of Stories of Resistance.

Cesar Chavez was the man who led the way.

participating in the grape boycott in Phoenix AZ that summer. It was a powerful experience for a naive college girl from the Midwest. I have been involved in many movements since then! It transformed me!
