Act II: How do you plan to weather Kev's "Freedom Caucus Dollar Days Sell Out"? (UPDATED)

Yes, “Act II” is intentional. Looking at you, Alannis Gropebert.

It’s always good to be proactive.

SEE YOU ALL AGAIN IN 45 DAYS!

Any shutdown will be over within 30 days max.

It may affect the economy, but not to the point of a depression.

Now, if the shutdown is accompanied by a default on the debt, a depression is definitely possible.

But a shutdown alone, no.

Previous shutdowns didn’t even trigger a recession.

While the Freedom caucus might want to burn it all down, the rest of the republicans don’t have the stomach for it and know an extended shutdown will guarantee they lose the WH and their majority next year.

Thanks for that.

My rebuttal is that ultimately this is Trump’s shutdown. The second law of Trump is that anything he touches turns to shit. So, I guess we’ll have to see where this leads.

Putin wins.
The GrOPpers manage to push back a meaningless shutdown until after the VA elections. Well, most elections. So, that's a win for them, they live to screw up another day.
The Democrats voted against their own best interests.

All they had to do was hold Kev hostage.

. . . . the good guys won't/don't fight back.

When they go low, we go high and get the rug pulled out from under us.

Sorry.
