from the MarketWatch Calendar link in your OP, https://www.marketwatch.com/economy-politics/calendar
SAAR means seasonally adjusted annual rate

There's a lot of spilled ink on the interwebs about how housing/shelter costs (rent and owner equivalent rent) are a lagging indicator in the CPI -- reflecting old rent leases much more than new leases which have been trending down. Some of that (from a month ago) is in my inflation megapost https://www.democraticunderground.com/10143007428#post2
(which has been updated for yesterday's CPI report, but the narrative about housing costs is from a month ago)

and that there were even decreases in a few cities.

I'm going to give that a separate thread.

Have a nice weekend.
