Actuallly, the way he describes our world and its ecomony is that the envoronment comes first and the economy is built from this. We destroy our environment and we destoy ourselves. Very similar to the Native American philosophy which states that if you despoil the cloth of life you despoil yourself, as we are all intertwined.
