The United States Embassy proudly announces the upcoming visit of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN68) to Jamaica from June 1 to June 5 as part of the maritime cooperation deployment Southern Seas 2026. Now in its 11th iteration, Southern Seas was announced in March by U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command and Jamaica will serve as the final stop in a multinational goodwill deployment that has taken the carrier throughout South America and the Caribbean.
