Doctors Remove 150 Live Bugs From Florida Man's Nose




(HuffPost) A Florida man is breathing easier now that 150 live bugs have been removed from his nose.

The unidentified patient went to a hospital earlier this month after noticing that his whole face felt like it was on fire, according to a Friday report by Jacksonville’s First Coast News.

Although the man first started experiencing symptoms in October, it wasn’t until recently that they became serious.

“Over a couple hours my face just started swelling, my lips swelled, I could hardly talk,” the patient told First Coast News. “I couldn’t even get up to go to the bathroom without my nose starting to bleed.” ...............(more)

2. Snorting bugs is a Florida thing. I gave it up years ago because it made your whole face feel like it was on fire.

route of transmission and risk for recurrence for him or others, but it would be an ENTOMOLOGIST who would identify the bug (larvae)... I SOOOOOOOOOOOO miss editors.

Oh, wait…I never handle rotting fish. Unless it was part of some horrible job, I’d recommend this guy find a new hobby.
