(109,743 posts)but damn if Beto doesn't pull out a win accompanied by an intense, against-the-odds turnout that likewise defeats one hell of a lot of the R's in the statehouse, then I simply cannot imagine anyone or any company relocating there. Certainly, their most highly educated workers won't. And yes, there are other states for which the same will be said, shortly, but Texas is leading the way in a horrific manner. Many years ago, Colorado was moving in that direction so I know what it is like. And I damn-well continue on heightened alert to avoid any unexpected veers back in that direction in my state.
