And she's encountered heartbreaking legal problems, her two siblings have prevented her from seeing their mother. It's apparently about inheritance, but any judges in Indiana have consistently ruled against her. BTW, my dentist is now here in New York and she's "one of us." I feel for her, my brother made it difficult for me to see our mother. 
This is especially difficult for my dentist - who has been a family friend since the '80s - since she has her practice and a family here in New York and her poor Mom is in Indiana. And the pandemic makes it worse. Until recently, there was a quarantine here in New York for anyone from out of state, or anyone who left the state. Even now, anytime you go to the doctor - or dentist - after a temperature check the first thing you're asked is whether you've left the state
