Very interested to read the details and particularly about the motive, when and if that is reported. Maybe using the slide was on their bucket list?? Or a panic attack?

The article mentions the a service dog jumped out with the pair. The photo shows that the over-wing door had been opened, which has me wondering why a handicapped person was allowed to sit in that row.
