When I edit a post, it wants to enter my phone number or home (United States, for crying out loud) in the reason field.

If you're wondering why "Apple Intelligence" is on hold for brain surgery, maybe it's because they can't get simple things right, let alone complex things.

I think that the major problem with A1 (sic) is that people are trying to get it to win the Boston Marathon before it can walk without falling down.

especially the integration between the phone and my desktop. It would be a pain in the ass to manually type in every password I have after clearing cookies.

Sounds like a browser setting?

Call 800 MY APPLE (Apple tech support). tell them you need help w iOS. It is free and a person will help you troubleshoot

I no doubt set some auto-fill setting.

On the desktop, I use Firefox and any "auto" filling is a right-click.
The coolest extension (besides ublock-origin) is one called Fake Data.
It generates some random data, including email addresses.
