I do some of the trip and fall stuff at my age triggering the 911/fall alarm that I can and have quickly canceled, so leaving the voice comm available is reassuring if I can't get up some time.

I will say this, Alexa lives in my house too. It may have been a big coincidence, but we had been discussing buying a certain product, neither of us had researched the subject online, but within a few minutes were are both getting ads for the product on our desktop computers.
