Ipod /Podcast Issue

I'm having a very strange problem with a new Win10 laptop and itunes. Itunes will download my podcasts just fine but when I hookup my ipod, the current days podcast will not transfer over to it (until the following day and by then it's yesterday's). I've got a request on discussions.apple.com with no reply. Anyone know of other resources I could try?

After hearing nothing from a few Apple discussion groups, I finally went to Apple itself and they were able to find the problem.
