because it is now very touchy and will page forward or back or just be nutso in general. My settings are okay I think so what does these mean and can I fix it?

(20,886 posts)Take the batteries out, wait 30 seconds or so, reassemble, reconnect and see it that makes a difference.

I bought a Logitech wireless mouse and have had no problems.

(9,958 posts)That seems to be where the problem is. That used to work, for a while anyway.
My mice would short out. You could actually hear it crackle when it was plugged in.

My new dog prefers a different type of mouse, the one that squeaks. She thinks catching them and leaving them on my lap is a show of love.

(5,562 posts)they last for years. I had to buy my 2nd one off ebay because they don't sell them locally anymore. Best thing Microsoft ever put out.
