2. Yahoo tried to bribe me into buying their paid email

I have had a Yahoo email address for over 20 years. Yahoo mail has become a fetid cesspool of nothing but spam. Yahoo wants me to pay for email that might be better. I am not buying. I had MyYahoo as my home page for even longer than that. Yahoo suddenly removed the MyYahoo page about a month ago without notice. I removed Yahoo from my bookmarks.

3. Is there any way to get your formatting back? They changed it once, asked how I like it. I lambasted them and got it

back, but no changing back this time. It was set up perfectly with the ability to go between my personal email and my business which is not a yahoo address. Now opens to the business and I have to search for my personal.

4. It looks like they "streamlined" it to some extent.

The original mail if you marked something as spam accidentally, it was spam forever, no undo.

Now, we no longer have that problem, but like you say they're collating incoming into different folders and to see it all except those marked as spam you have to click "All". And as a bonus, a daily spam seems to like into the email box as "Offers".

Let's face it, Yahoo never got anything 100% right. But it does work better than the first day last week.

I'm still wary of repeated offers to create backup addresses because I've created them before. There is backup email, backup phone, and now they're pushing 2-step authorization (as are eBay, some financial accounts). Sometimes I wish I could toss it all.

6. Accidentally deleted emails, then UNDO command, and they recovered.

Next day they're gone. I don't even know what I lost, all from the last 3 months.

Sometimes I see the wisdom of using PC based email like Outlook or Thunderbird.

But cleaning up 25 years of emails is a major project.
