to the right for more than a generation (by starting the Reform Party that then merged with what used to be known as the Progressive Conservatives). Poiliever slogans are things like "Canada First". Most of their policies they want to implement are things Republicans wanted for the USA but they did not capture the majority of Canadians while Trudeau was in power until the last two years when Trudeau got so unpopular. Now, with Trump threatening us, people have left the Conservatives and the decent and bright Mark Carney is ahead as we go through a 5 week election.
