Seattle's Families, Education, Preschool, and Promise Levy on track for a successful 2025 renewal, NPI Civic Heartbeat

poll finds

A strong majority of Seattle voters are behind the renewal of one of the Emerald City’s most important levies, putting it on track for passage next month, the Northwest Progressive Institute’s latest Civic Heartbeat poll has found.

In the aggregate, a representative sample of 59% of 615 likely November 2025 voters interviewed this week for the Northwest Progressive Institute by Change Research said they had or would be voting in favor of the latest measure to bear the moniker Seattle Proposition 1, while 26% said they had or would be voting no.

15% said they were not sure and 1% said they would not vote.

Though this is an education levy, it is a city-level levy rather than a school district one. Similar levies have been approved by Seattle voters going back to 1990.
