Amber Alert issued for 1-year-old girl in Yakima

An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing one-year-old girl in Yakima, WA.

A gold 2014 GMC Acadia was stolen from a post office parking lot near 205 Western Washington Ave on Sunday morning. The child was inside the vehicle at the time of the theft.

The license plate is a Washington plate with the number BTW5401

The girl was last seen wearing a white onesie with fruit on it.

3. I saw the Amber alert

I got it on both my phones, but as I'm in Kirkland, nowhere near Yakima, I wonder what the point of those alerts is.

Not complaining and I'm glad she was found safe, but too many alerts makes one tune them out.
