Predictions for the 2025 Virginia election with forecaster Chaz Nuttycombe

His new forecasting initiative, State Navigate, recently polled close to 700 likely Virginia voters on the upcoming statewide elections. In the polling, former Democratic congresswoman Abigail Spanberger led Republican Lieutenant Governor Winsome Earle-Sears by 13 points, conducted within weeks of the November 4 election.

The polling also reflected a sizeable lead for Democratic State Sen. Ghazala Hashmi over Republican John Reid for Lieutenant Governor, but a close contest between Republican Attorney General Jason Miyares and Democratic challenger Jay Jones.

According to their forecasting, Virginia Democrats are "overwhelmingly" favored to win a majority in the House of Delegates.
