Texas GOP congressman is plotting to rid party of right-wing 'anarchists' - CNN

I hate to say this, and I’m not saying this as a partisan Democrat (which I am), but the Texas Republican Party’s right-wingers have the numbers, the money, and the organization to drag the Texas Republican Party even further to the right.

The only thing I can see that might stop them is a statewide voter revolt in the general election, where the nutters are sent packing. Sadly, I doubt there are enough angry voters around to send the crazies back to the sidelines.
