Education for profit is perfectly acceptable there.
I'm glad I no longer live there.

one of whom was also QAnon, so I'm especially thankful for a normal person on the board. There's an old-style Republican who stood up against the effort to privatize, and my friend. The rest are all from one non-denominational church and the former senior pastor is on the board. Ugh.

I read info by someone here or on Twitter that when it says 100 percent, it's really talking about Election Day returns.

My friend lost. She would have been awesome. I made the mistake of texting to congratulate her on Election Night after I saw what I thought were the final results. When she didn't reply, I had a bad feeling.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.

Tell me more...
