The majority of the country does not know or care about Charlie Kirk the podcaster and debater.

He was a disgusting person and nothing should be named after him.

His name comes up all the time on the podcasts that I listen to.

The MAGAs loved him.

Of course they made excuses for him just like they do for Trump.

What a despicable decision this is. Charlie Kirk deserves this honor more than Vietnam Veterans? What a disgrace!

I used to travel that highway all the time, but I live in a different part of the state now.

There is still a 'Nathan Bedford Forrest Day' by law in the state (July 13th). Nathan Bedford Forrest was one of the largest slave traders in the state, a Confederate General (responsible for the 'Fort Pillow Massacre', where black Union troops were murdered while trying to surrender), and he was the KKK's first Grand Dragon!
It's hard to know which of those three achievements made Tennessee lawmakers decide that Forrest should be worthy of a holiday!
