OKLAHOMA ELECTION PREVIEW: KEY RACES AND ISSUES TO WATCH

Oklahomans will head to the polls Tuesday for the Board of Education and Statutory Municipal General Election, one of the largest elections of the year. Voters across the state will decide on over 214 races within the Oklahoma City area and many more statewide.

Voters can check this website or with their local election office for voting locations and ballot details.

Why this election matters:
Local elections often directly impact daily life. Voter turnout for municipal elections tends to be lower than in state and national elections, making each vote even more significant.

What's on the ballot?
The election covers a range of local and municipal races, including:

State school boards
School bond proposals
City Council and mayoral elections
City propositions and county questions.
