Binghamton mayor 2025 election: What the candidates have to say on the issues

This November, Binghamton residents will have the chance to vote in a contested mayoral election when incumbent Jared Kraham, a Republican, faces off against Democrat challenger Miles Burnett.

Kraham was elected in 2021 after serving seven years as deputy mayor for former mayor Richard David. Burnett previously served as deputy chief of staff for New York State Senator Lea Webb and aide to New York City Council Member Andrew Cohen.

For Kraham and Burnett, who are both Binghamton natives, the issues of public safety and housing are key focal points for their campaigns.
