A lot of the stereotyping of New Jersey involves a kind of low life greater mentality involving crude behavior.
I do use expletives, but not in day to day interactions. I seldom hear expletives being stated by others. Many of the conversations one overhears on the street are profound and reflect a level of thinking not capable of being expressed with catchall cursing.
There are a great number of gracious well spoken people here.
