Carson City launches online sign-up portal for election workers
We're less than nine months out from the midterms, and much of the focus now is on the names you could see on the ballot.
But down in Carson City, officials want to make sure the hundreds of workers needed to help the day run smoothly have a seamless sign-up.
The city recently launched a new online election worker portal, which allows users to apply online, update availability, and track assignment status.
"This new system will allow us to be a little more agile, and schedule people where we need them, and where it's critical," said Shauna Bakkedahl, Carson City's Chief Deputy of Elections.
