Four Hinds County voting precincts changed ahead of special elections
HINDS COUNTY, Miss. — The Hinds County Election Commission said four of the 108 voting precincts have been permanently changed for the upcoming Tuesday, Nov. 4, general special election.
The changes are as follows:
- District 1: Precinct 38 — Chastain Middle School permanently moved to Midtown Public Charter School at 4959 i-55 Frontage Road
- District 3: Precinct 57 — Jackson Consistory No. 117 permanently returned to Pecan Park Elementary School at 415 Claiborne Ave.
- District 3: Precinct 59 — Fire Station No. 14 permanently moved to Mississippi Baptist Seminar and Bible College at 160 John R. Lynch St.
-District 5: Precinct 63 — Davis Temple Church of God in Christ permanently moved to College Hill Baptist Church at 1600 Florence Ave.
